I want to show one of the hardest painting techniques I have come across. That is to reduce the detail in a picture but still retain some or a lot of the aspect of the subject, so it is recognisable. The example painting will show what I mean. I’m still perfecting the technique, and the more I paint the better I think I get at it. The painting in acrylics is one of my earlier attempts.
